1/10 Wireless Calling System and Mechanics
In manufacturing systems or factories, a common use case for the call system occurs when immediate assistance from a mechanic is needed at a specific workstation. To achieve this, we utilize the ELEGANT TOUCH BUTTON, which is attached to the designated workstation. It can be pressed or touched to communicate the need for the mechanic’s support.
The call is then sent to a specific mechanic, for example, mechanic 1 or 2, depending on the prior configuration and system settings. There is also the option to configure the system to send the signal to all available mechanics. Alternatively, instead of sending notifications to their wristwatches, we can redirect them to a designated room, such as the mechanics’ room, where a display shows the workstation number requiring their intervention.
The signal can be sent individually to specific mechanics, or we can customize the configuration so that a particular workstation sends a notification only to a chosen mechanic or to all of them simultaneously. The display option additionally allows all mechanics to monitor which workstation requires their attention. In the case of simultaneous calls from multiple workstations, these numbers can be presented on the display, switching between them at a specified time interval, adjusted according to the system settings.
2/10 Wireless Calling System In Production Plant
In a scenario where we have a larger number of mechanics covering a vast operational area, let’s consider having, for instance, 3 mechanics and 100 machines. When one of the machines malfunctions, and there’s no specific mechanic assigned, it becomes crucial for the task to be handled by the mechanic who is currently available.
Upon initiating a call from a particular workstation, all mechanics receive a notification. The mechanic who takes on the task presses the button, and simultaneously, the other mechanics receive a message containing, for example, their name, confirming that they are taking on the assignment. This ensures that the rest of the mechanics do not need to engage in unnecessary actions towards that specific workstation.
Whether it will be effective in our case?
The real potential of the p-beep Calling System is revealed only in practice. Surprisingly, a positive fact is that as many as 94% of companies decided to adopt the system after a trial period. It is not just a tool that changes the rules of the game; it dramatically transforms the perspective on communication, which is so abundant every day. This is crucial, especially considering that in many cases, we deal with 24-hour production.
